The protection of your personal data is important to me. Your data is processed solely within the framework of applicable law (GDPR, BDSG) and the professional confidentiality obligations that apply to me as a psychotherapist (§ 203 of the German Criminal Code).

Data processing in the contact form

Data collected

When you send me a message via the contact form, I process the following information:

  • Name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Preferred language and contact method (optional)
  • Your message (required)
  • Time of submission

Please do not share special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (in particular health data or detailed descriptions of your symptoms) via this form. Organisational details are sufficient for an initial contact.

Purpose

The processing serves solely to handle your request, to get in touch with you and, if applicable, to schedule an initial appointment.

Legal basis

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – where the contact is aimed at entering into a treatment relationship.
  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent, given via the confirmation checkbox in the form. You may withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future.
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in responding to general inquiries.
  • Where special categories of personal data are exceptionally shared: Art. 9(2)(a) GDPR (explicit consent) or Art. 9(2)(h) GDPR in conjunction with § 22 BDSG (provision of healthcare).

Recipients

Your data is treated confidentially and is not shared with third parties without your consent. The following processors are used for the technical operation of the website, on the basis of data processing agreements pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR:

  • Website hosting provider
  • Email service provider for delivering the inquiry

No transfer to third countries outside the EU/EEA takes place, or such transfer is carried out only on the basis of appropriate safeguards in accordance with Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.

Retention and deletion

Your data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for handling your request and provided no statutory retention obligations apply. Inquiries that do not result in a treatment relationship are generally deleted no later than six months after receipt. If a treatment contract is concluded, the professional retention periods apply (generally ten years after completion of treatment in accordance with § 630f BGB).

Security notice

Form data is transmitted in encrypted form (TLS/HTTPS). However, complete security cannot be guaranteed for transmission over the internet. If you would like to share particularly sensitive information, please do so in person.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to:

  • access the personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
  • data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
  • object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
  • withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

To exercise your rights, an informal message to the email address above is sufficient.

Right to lodge a complaint
