If you write to me by email, your information (name, email address, content of your message) is processed solely to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a treatment relationship) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).
Your email is transmitted via your email provider and my email provider and stored there. Please note that transmission by email may be unencrypted. For this reason, please do not share special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 GDPR (in particular health data or detailed descriptions of your symptoms) in your first message. Inquiries that do not result in a treatment relationship are generally deleted no later than six months after receipt.
Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- access the personal data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- have inaccurate data rectified (Art. 16 GDPR)
- have your data erased (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
